Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in managing all aspects of s Supply side of Cross-Border Commerce, preferably for an Indian Company
- Proficient in English and able to communicate with India based teams. Regular interactions with India Supply Chain Head for ongoing business development
- Regularly get in touch with relevant factories to for sourcing identified products (by Indian team) as well as provide ideas on SKU development (modification of existing products in liaison with factories or suggestion of new innovative products produced by the manufacturer)
- Experience in categories such as baby gear and accessories, toys and home along with existing relationship with manufacturers is big plus
- Understanding of material quality gradients of plastic / clothes based products as well as understanding of costing, legal, regulatory compliance is a must
- Be the key person for Quality Checks of the products, Quality Insurance of the procured orders
- Develop vendor relations with existing factories and continue to evaluate new factories for more product categories
- Ongoing Negotiation of SKU pricing, terms of pricing with suppliers with focus to reduce the cost and concentrate sourcing around few key suppliers
- Regular sampling, order execution, follow-ups, shipment tracking & any other logistics related matters
- Any previous work experience in related category players like FirstCry, HopScotch, LuvLap, MeeMee is a highly preferred
- Willingness to travel to India on need basis as well as assist the Mylo team’s visit to China for business trips
